The Book of MicahThe Restitution of All Things

Micah 4:2 “And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”

1. The Seventh Day
2. The Nations Remain
3. The Law of The House

1. The Seventh Day

Once THE ESTABLISHMENT occurs [the establishment of “the mountain of the house of the Lord”] … the earth will finally enter into REST.

In Genesis chapter two, verse two, God created all that was made in six days, and on the seventh day HE “ended” HIS work, and HE “rested”.

“And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.” [Genesis 2:2]

There is something we need to learn about the number seven.

The number seven is the number signifying completion.

Now, God’s sense of time … is not our sense of time.

We need to learn God’s sense, or perspective of things.

We learn in Second Peter chapter three, verse eight of the relationship of a day to a thousand years: “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” [2 Peter 3:8]

God established a pattern for what was to transpire in the sequence of time.

Man’s allotted time to work [of human government] would be six thousand years. After that, when the establishment [of God’s government] is made at the end of the time of the Gentiles, then, the earth would enter its REST.

After six thousand years of men running things, the earth will be in a complete mess [being nearly destroyed from the effects of man’s sin].

• [Acts 3:19] “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.”

• [Acts 3:21] “Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.”

2. The Nations Remain

After something that is called “the supper of the great God” is over [which SUPPER is found in the book of the Revelation in chapter nineteen, verse seventeen], and after the establishment of the millennial reign of Jesus Christ, we see [as our verse shows] that there are still “many nations” that remain on the earth: “And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,” [Micah 4:2].

Now notice, the nations that go into the millennial age [the Kingdom of Heaven] are not identified. Though they are not identified, they are nations of this earth that are composed of all the people who have survived the seven years of the Great Tribulation.

There is something else we can see here.  These nations are subjugated nations.  They are no longer under a human government of their own making.  [They are not in charge … any longer.]

They are now VASSAL nations under the rule of supernatural government from Zion.

GOD is now living among men!

The prophet Zechariah shows us this very picture from a future scene.  The scene is this.  Are you ready?

The nations are making a pilgrimage to Jerusalem to worship the KING … once a year.  You maybe asking, “Now, where does the prophet show us this?”

Here is your answer.  Zechariah [by the Spirit of God] shows us this … in chapter fourteen, verse sixteen: “And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.” [Zechariah 14:16]

Is not that something?  Finally, there is order, and finally, there is peace.  The people of the earth are in agreement even if it is forced on them.  They will be in agreement with a universal worship of the SON of GOD! Amen!

They will come to the mountain and do obeisance!!!

Oh, Worship the King! Amen!

They will be ruled by Zion’s King [Jesus Christ], and we, the believers in Jesus Christ in this age [the Age of Grace] will co-reign with Jesus Christ over the nations of this earth in the Millennial Kingdom.

Now, get this: we will be “kings and priests” over the nations that are composed of the very people who are the ones left on this earth after the Great Tribulation, and the great supper of our God is over.

Now, look with me at this tremendous promise that is made to us [the believers in Jesus Christ] in the book of Revelation … in chapter five, verse ten: “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” [Revelation 5:10]

We will be in our glorified bodies that we have received.

There you have it!  There will be supernatural people, [the saved sinners of this age of Grace] reigning in next age [the Age of the Kingdom of Heaven] over the nations of the earth.

I call them supernatural because they have their new bodies. They are clothed in immortality! Chew on these verses in First Corinthians and the book of Luke:

• [1 Corinthians 15:44] “It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.”

• [1 Corinthians 15:49] “And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.”

• [Luke 20:36] “Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.”

3. The Law of The House

“and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”

“For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.” [John 1:17]

In this age that we live in, which is the Church Age, the believers in Jesus Christ are not under the Law because the righteousness of the LAW is fulfilled in us.

This mystery is revealed in Romans chapter eight, verse four: “That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” [Romans 8:4]

The Christian walks after the Spirit of God!

Then, what does this Scripture mean that is found in Matthew chapter five, verse eighteen? “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.” [Matthew 5:18]

When is all the Law fulfilled?  Was it when Jesus Christ went to the Cross of Calvary?  No!  Jesus Christ coming to the Cross, and raising from the grave … is only partial fulfillment of the Law.

All will not be all fulfilled until all that is written in the word of God concerning Jesus Christ is fulfilled.

Now, this is what it says in Luke chapter twenty-four, verse for forty-four: “And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.” [Luke 24:44]

All has not yet been fulfilled concerning Jesus Christ.

When HE comes, and with the establishment of the government of the Kingdom of Heaven throughout the world, it only follows that there will be a law that would go forth from Zion throughout the world: “for the law shall go forth of Zion.”

The law will be THE LAW!

The first thing that will happen in the MILLENIUM … is the LAW will be put into the hearts of the people of Israel.

This is in fulfillment to what was already prophesied by the prophet Jeremiah in the book of Jeremiah, in chapter thirty-one, in verses thirty-three and four: “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” [Jeremiah 31:33-34]

Then, the LAW will go forth into all the earth to govern all the nations.

It is called “the law of the house.”

Read with me in the book of Ezekiel chapter forty-three: “This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.” [Ezekiel 43:12]

The LAW will be fulfilled at the end of the millennial reign of Jesus Christ when HE delivers up the Kingdom to God the Father.

“Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

For he hath put all things under his feet.

But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” [1 Corinthians 15:24-28]

Amen! Amen! Amen!!!
